Paul and I went to Weezer on Friday night! But before the show I was talking to a good friend of mine, Bubs, and she asked what we were doing that night. I told her we were going to see Weezer. She responded by saying what is the Weezer? I told her it was a band and she said oh well we are going to see The Smurfs, as in the movie. I laughed pretty hard after hanging up. If you knew her you would understand. She is funny but doesn't even try to be. Her and I are just so different but yet have been good friends for almost 20 years now. Some how it just works.Anyway the show was at the Sandbar at Redrock and was amazing. Rivers got out into to the crowd a few times and even swam in one of the pools at the end. They also covered a Foster the People song which I loved and then a Radiohead song which I did not love. Radiohead are one of those bands that Paul and I feel like we should like but just don't. Weezer is getting a bit old but they can still put on an amazing show. They played from all of their albums and did not disappoint at all. It was a fun night and I always love a good show.
