Weirdest Night Ever!

At work one of the companies that we do design work for gave us free tickets to a show that is temporarily in town.  Because I only do the billing and know little about the actual jobs we do or what the jobs are about.  So when ticket for a show at the Venetian was offered for Priscilla Queen of the Desert I thought sure why not.  I thought it would be nice for Paul and I to have a night out on the town.
Anyway it was the weirdest thing ever and was all about drag queens.  Needless to say Paul and I walked out after about 10 minutes.  It was bizarre and very uncomfortable.  Then as we headed out in the Venetian they are celebrating Carnevale and there were a lot of people dressed up in masks and they had live performers playing the piano and violin.  We watched to a few minutes but again it was weird.

I decided to take Paul to Serendipity for some frozen hot chocolate and a giant pretzel to help heal his scars from that nights activities.  It was a great end to a freaky night.  I learned a good lesson that free doesn't always mean it is worth going to.  Even though it was an off night we made the best of it and had a great time.
