Last night Paul and I got substitutes for the Temple so that we could go to our niece's play. Camryn is in a production company called Hollywood Kids that teaches kids how to sing, dance and act. They put on shows a few times a year and this time was an audition only class/show. Camryn got in and we were all super proud of her. They did Disney's Mulan and Camryn was one of the three warrior friends of Mulan and other small backup parts. She did such a great job and looked like she was having the time of life in the lime light!
After the play we headed to my co workers reception. He got married two weeks ago in Utah and had a little open house here. After we headed to dinner. Paul couldn't decide what type of food he even wanted so I suggested the buffet we were going to pass on our way home. The Feast at Texas Station. It was $10 bucks a pop and we thought it could be fun. Paul and I get this idea about once a year where we think it would be fun to go to a trashy buffet with no specialty items. Every time we are disappointed. The food is not great and the people are ghetto! It was an adventure to say the least.
We then headed to the theater to see if they had anything playing and nothing grabbed our interest to we came home and put in a favorite. Another Earth. It is such a great movie and the music is epic. Everything about that movie is perfect! Paul's words not mine. I being a girl would have changed the very last scene but besides that would agree with Paul. Anyway it was fun to have a night out but I will be excited to be back at the Temple next week.

Take down the lies about the buffet.
ReplyDeleteCorrection: Buffets with no specailty items are gross with the exception of GVR while with the Sokols.
