The next day was Paul's birthday! We went to Alcatraz. It was a really interesting experience and extremely educational. I thought the island was fabulous and worth the trip. Not to mention the bestview of San Francisco is from Alcatraz.
After we got back from the island we decided to go to the Aquarium of the Bay. Paul ate it up. He absolutely loved it. While walking in they were offering paper crowns to the little children. I often feel as though Paul is a child so I thought it was appropriate for him to get one too. We had a lot of fun in the aquarium and enjoy a good part of our afternoon there.
Once we got done we headed down the Pier and hung out there for awhile. We stumbled upon a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and got a yummy cheesecake caramel apple. It was fabulous and we feel in love with it! We ate a ton throughout the trip and had great food all week but the apple was one of our favorites. After awhile we headed back to Union Square for the rest of the night. We went to bed fairly early that night cause we knew we had a big day ahead of us.
