Part two of our early retirement vacation we headed to Williams, AZ. It is a cute little town on Route 66 that is about 45 minutes or so from the Grand Canyon.
Right when we got to town we ate at a super fun old school diner then headed to the Hotel. It was an old ghetto place but super fun. We were the first people to check in so we got to choose our room. They were all decorated differently. From an Asian room to the WWI room that Paul selected.
After we got settled we went shopping and enjoyed the small town and the little rain that we were getting. The first night was slow paced and but really fun.
The
Grand Canyon is really amazing and it is crazy to see. I felt so small
but that the world was so grand. We spent the day walking around,
looking at the sights and eating before heading back to Williams for the night.
It was a
fun little trip and great to get out and see new things. It wasn't your normal vacation but it is one I will never forget.
